About this resort
Located on an all-natural private island in the north of the Maldives, JA Manafaru, The Real Maldives offers luxurious beach and overwater villas with private outdoor pools. The resort spans 35 acres of peaceful white sandy beach and can be reached by domestic flight followed by a speedboat ride or by seaplane from Malé.
All accommodations are spacious and air-conditioned, with private pools, flat-screen TVs, Nespresso coffee makers, and complimentary Wi-Fi. Guests can choose between Beach and Overwater Villas with sunrise or sunset views. Each villa features a private bathroom, with some also offering a spa bathtub and others an outdoor rain shower. For families or friends traveling together, the resort also offers three bespoke Residences.
The award-winning Dine Around package provides a variety of culinary experiences, including generous menus, themed nights, in-villa dining, unlimited ice cream, and more than 150 wines and cocktails. Guests can enjoy fresh seafood at Ocean Grill, international buffets at Kakuni, Italian flavors at Andiamo Bistro, Teppanyaki and Japanese specialties at White Orchid, and handcrafted cocktails with live music at Veli Bar. The Cellar, the Maldives' first subterranean wine cave, offers an exclusive dining experience. All seven dining venues cater to different dietary needs and preferences.
Guests can relax on the beach or around the resort's outdoor pools, including a children's pool. On-site snorkeling is available, with complimentary snorkeling gear provided, along with water sports such as diving, sailing, jet skiing, and stand-up paddleboarding. The resort also features a PADI dive center, floodlit tennis court, pool table, games area, photography studio, and Cool Zone children's playground and space.
The Calm Spa Sanctuary, nestled among ancient banyan trees, offers Eminence treatments and Maldivian massages. Guests can also take part in wellness classes and yoga sessions or work out at the gym with sea views.
