- MRV Fee Receipt — $185, paid via the U.S. Embassy Yerevan payment platform
- Interview Appointment Confirmation (U.S. Embassy in Armenia, 1 American Avenue)
- Valid Passport — valid for at least 6 months beyond the intended period of stay in the U.S.
- One Photograph — 5 × 5 cm, white background, taken within the last 6 months
- Social Media Handles from the Past 5 Years — listed in the DS-160 application

United States visa questions
For tourism or business you need a B1/B2 non-immigrant visa, applied for at the US Embassy in Yerevan. An in-person interview is required for every applicant, regardless of age — since October 2025 there are no more age-based interview exemptions, so even infants and elderly applicants must attend.
The required documents include the DS-160 confirmation page, the $185 MRV fee receipt, interview appointment confirmation, a valid passport, a photograph, and documentation demonstrating strong ties to Armenia. Evidence of ties to Armenia is one of the most important factors in the visa decision — the interview itself, not a stack of paperwork, is what the decision mainly rests on.
Current B1/B2 wait times are 60–90 days. We monitor the schedule and advise when to begin based on your travel date. The DS-160 must be submitted and the MRV fee paid before an appointment can be booked.
Yes, every applicant must attend in person, with no age exceptions since October 2025 — even young children and applicants over 79 now need their own interview. We run a preparation session based on your specific profile and the questions currently being asked at the Yerevan consulate.
Under the current reciprocity schedule, Armenian citizens can be issued a B1/B2 visa valid for up to 10 years with multiple entries — that's the maximum, not a guarantee. The consular officer decides the actual validity for each applicant and can issue a shorter period; a strong travel history and well-documented ties typically support the longer validity.
